Kananaskis Mountain Helicopters Ltd.

Kananaskis Mountain Helicopters is a full service commercial helicopter operator based in the Alberta Rocky Mountains. Our mission is to provide safe, well-maintained helicopters flown by skilled pilots to surpass our customer's needs. We have a solid foundation to our Safety Management System and are the first helicopter operator in Alberta to use the Portable Collision Avoidance System (PCAS) on all our aircrafts.

The company was established in 1994 and has participated in a wide range of standard and specialty helicopter work. Our fleet consist of light and intermediate helicopters from the Bell 206B to the AStar350FX2. These aircrafts carry either 4 or 6 passengers and are capable of external payloads between 850 to 2400 lbs. Our main office is at the Rocky Mountain Airport (CYRM.) We also operate from two heliports at Cline River, AB (CCR5) and Kananaskis, AB (CNK7). Operating under our own Approved Maintenance Organization, we have a Director of Maintenance on staff and a new fully equipped permanent maintenance hanger based in Kananaskis.
